Takara Joseph (tuh-CARE-uh) is a creative producer, project manager, and operations leader working across campaigns, content, and brand moments in film, social, digital, and experiential spaces. She moves comfortably between the creative and operational sides of production while building the systems and structure that help teams stay focused and deliver strong work, even as priorities shift.
For over a decade, Takara has led creative production across top advertising agencies and brand studios, managing integrated campaigns for brands including Apple, Alexander Wang, TikTok, eBay, Delta Air Lines, IHG, Comcast, and Oprah Winfrey Network — including the Cannes Lions-winning Unwearable Collection.
On the narrative side, Takara is an Emmy-nominated producer and director, a Film Independent Project Involve Fellow, and a Women In Film Emerging Producer Fellow. Her films have screened at Tribeca, BlackStar, and the American Black Film Festival, and her Netflix documentary series The Black Beauty Effect explores the evolution of the beauty industry. She's currently in development on both scripted and unscripted projects.
Whatever the format, Takara's throughline is efficient storytelling — bringing the same clarity and structure to a 30-second campaign as a feature documentary.
